Lecturers Award

Mark Hall is the overall winner of the AOP Lecturers Awards 2009, sponsored by Canon. Mark, who is Programme Leader, BA (hons) Commercial Photography course at the University of Derby, wins a Canon EOS 5D Mark2 kit with EF24-105mm lens and his images reproduced in the accompanying academic calendar. Mark’s striking series was a clear winner for the AOP Board of Directors, who judged the competition, and can be seen at the AOP Gallery, London as part of a 2-week exhibition

AOP Photographers Awards 2009 - Winners announced and book launched
Now in their 26th Year, the AOP Photographers Awards are regarded as THE photographic Awards within the industry; and this year’s entrants had the opportunity to enter nineteen categories across Personal and Commissioned Work.
In 2009 the judges have selected 5 Silver Award winners, 23 Bronze Award winners and also the ultimate accolade, the AOP Photographer of the Year in association with Epson.
This award was presented to recognise and highlight the talent of one AOP Photographer who has excelled in this year’s Awards. The AOP Photographer of the Year for 2009 is Karin Berndl. 10 of her images were selected for the AOP Photographers Awards 2009, across Commissioned work within the Still Life category.
All selected images are presented in the AOP Photographers Awards Book which was also launched at the Awards Cermony at Sadlers Wells Theatre last night, and will be available to buy online soon. Read More... |
